About Us

Our story

Founded in 1986, Macco is a well-established chemical manufacturing company located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Québec, Canada. Since then, it has undergone continuous growth and has increased its production capacity exponentially, especially for the food and pharmaceutical industries. In 2004, Macco acquired an inorganic salt manufacturing plant in the Czech Republic (Macco Organiques S.R.O.), followed by Isaltis installations (France) in 2018.

Macco Organiques is recognized in over 70 countries worldwide for the quality of its products and customer service. Our factory in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield is FSSC 22000 certified, Health Canada approved and registered with the Food and Drug Administration (US FDA).
